Good Girl Go! has opened up her family's small estate - Lou Viei Roure du Clos de Coudon - in the south of France for wellness retreats and private rentals. Whether you are taking a short get-away, an extended stay or a sabbatical, staying at Lou Viei Roure is a truly unique experience at any time of the year. Once there, your wellness time begins and the ‘crazy’ world melts away...

This is a place for all who want to nurture wellness of mind, body and spirit...and for those who want to be in a place where the smell of wild herbs mingles with warm earth, where clear blue skies blend into fragrant, star-filled nights.

It is a place to enjoy a refined, relaxed, comfortable and rejuvenating time in a unique and private setting that is perfect for all those seeking an authentic, meaningful experience. Families, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, best friends, lovers, avid cyclists, privacy seekers, foodies, culture buffs, nature lovers, music buffs, artists, walkers, readers and thinkers - it’s a perfect setting for just about anyone craving a quiet, mindful place...just to be.

You can unplug here without feeling cut off.

Lou Viei Roure [the Old Oak Place in Provencal dialect] is situated in the center of 20 acres of secluded, private fields. Six hundred year old terraces are lined with olive trees, bee hives, wild flowers and herbs.  As you walk the grounds you might discover hidden truffle spots, pick from the fruit and almond trees, and gather thyme and rosemary sprigs among the grass.

Tucked away from crowded circuits but not isolated, the 400 year old farmhouse at Clos de Coudon sits in its own valley. It is a quiet place within easy reach of many attractions - the sea, the mountains, vineyards and lavender plateaus. There are year-round cultural events, natural and ancient wonders to explore…the Cote D’Azur, the Gorge du Verdon and the pristine Lac du Verdon, the Alps, the Camargue, Monte Carlo, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon are all perfect day-trip and overnight destinations.

Lou Viei Roure is approached through vineyards and surrounded by fields. Located 3.5 km outside the village of Cotignac, the unique estate is within walking or cycling distance of Cotignac, a year-round village that thrives beneath troglodyte cliffs and Saracen towers. Cotignac bustles with restaurants, weekly markets, bakeries, cafes and shops. It is right in the heart of the Var region of Provence, where popular rose vineyards join with characterful stone architecture and brightly painted buildings.

There are limitless foot and bike trails, ancient and historic places to see in a region that was important to the Knights Templar. The village offers a large boulodrome, tennis court, and cobbled streets leading up to the troglodyte caves in the cliffs. Fresh produce is always available from local markets and it’s always a pleasure to discover local wines and to savor natural spring water along the pilgrimage route.

For the super-sporty there is canyon-ing, kayaking, hang-gliding, cycling of all types and levels [a section of the tour de France is at hand]. There is also horse riding, swimming, sailing, fishing, hunting and music of all kinds - classical, jazz, choral, chanting and modern music events abound.
